Eco Schools
We are an Eco School and a member of the WESSA Eco-Schools Programme.
The aim of Eco-Schools is to raise pupils’ awareness of the environment as well as sustainable development through classroom activities and community action. The Eco-schools themes include topics such as: water conservation, recycling, energy, nature and biodiversity, healthy living, pollution and climate change.
Pecanwood College has completed our 10th year in the WESSA Eco Schools Programme.

2017 4th Platinum Award – Hyacinth
2018 Diamond Decade Award – Plastic
